Happy Birthday Eric Clapton

A solo career that has yielded such hits as "I Shot the Sheriff," the Grammy-winning "Change the World" and Derek and the Dominos' "Layla" led to Eric Clapton becoming the first three-time inductee into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Yardbirds gave the guitarist and singer his first fame, but the blues purist quit when he thought they'd gone too "pop." His Cream years were highlighted by "White Room" and "Sunshine of Your Love." Eric also guested on The Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."
