Neil Young has been emphatic in recent interviews about never touring again with Crosby, Stills & Nash, but that didn’t stop him from jamming with former Buffalo Springfield band mate Stephen Stills at the Light Up the Blues Concert in Los Angeles over the weekend benefiting Autism Speaks.
The L.A. Times reported that the two iconic rockers performed Buffalo Springfield hits “Mr. Soul,” “Bluebird” and “For What It’s Worth,” and closed out the show with an all-star jam of Young’s hit “Rockin’ In The Free World.”
While we’re bummed that CSNY aren’t touring together any time soon, if we have to “settle” for moments like this, I think we can make due.
