Paul McCartney was singing Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's praise -- literally -- during a $25,000-a-head fundraiser on Tuesday night (August 30) -- at Jimmy Buffett's home in Sagaponack, N.Y.
McCartney joined Buffett and fellow guest Jon Bon Jovi, both of whom performed solo sets, for renditions of Wings' "Jet" and the Beatles' "Can't Buy Me Love," "Lady Madonna" and "Hey Jude."
According to reports he also cracked that "I have performed before and not gotten paid, but this is the first time in my entire life when I have paid to hear myself sing. Just kidding. I'm not allowed to contribute in your elections, but this is one when I would if I could."
McCartney also danced with the former First Lady and Secretary of State during the party, which raised a reported $3.8 million for the Clinton campaign.
