It is time to lace up your running shoes and head to the 7th Annual Autism Cares Foundation’s Race for Resources, on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 -11:30 a.m.
The family-friendly event at Tyler State Park Center for the Arts in Richboro has something for everyone. There is a 5K, 10K, and 2-mile Family Fun Walk.
With more than 2,000 people are expected to attend, the Race for Resources, which is the largest run for autism in the surrounding Bucks County. There will be a DJ, a wide variety of refreshments, a bounce house, video game bus, the Philly Phanatic and several other special guests.
The Autism Expo will offer more than 30 vendors to help children, teens, and adults with autism, and other special needs, find resources from top-notch community service providers.
Everyone knows someone living with autism, and the numbers keep rising. Autism currently effects 1 in 68 children in the U.S. By participating as a Race for Resources donor, sponsor, volunteer, or team member, you are helping to enrich the lives of those with autism today and build for them a brighter tomorrow.
