The drummers of two of the most iconic bands to emerge from the 1980s face off in our latest Drummer Month Battle.
Larry Mullen Jr., who started U2 back in 1976, was nearly kicked out of the band in its early beginnings at the request of request of record executives, but his technique and style grew to the point where imagining U2 without Mullen is like imagining them without Bono.
Stewart Copeland, on the other hand is perhaps one of the most gifted, yet underrated drummers of not just his generation but of all time. He created a technique and sound that has influence countless other drummers, but no one has been able to replicate it.
But which one is best?
