Steely Dan Announces Mini-Vegas Residency

Steely Dan continues to embrace the residency concept.

After playing a 10-date run at the Beacon Theatre in New York during October, Donald Fagen and Walter Becker have announced nine shows for the Opaline Theatre at The Venetian in Las Vegas, starting April 12 and continuing with shows on April 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28 and 29.

The stand is dubbed “Reelin' In the Chips,” and if it follows the pattern set by the New York run it will find Steely Dan playing entire albums as well as greatest hits shows.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on January 20th.  Full ticket details are available at SteelyDan.com.

The group has not yet announced whether it plans to tour during the summer, as it has nearly every year.
