Today (February 6) is Axl Rose’s birthday, and this past year certainly has been a busy one for the singer, but there’s a specific reason we’d like to recognize him today. (And no, it has nothing to do with the fact he’s been punctual lately.)
However you felt about Axl fronting AC/DC on tour, there is one thing that was obviously: He’s clearly a fan and very respectful of the AC/DC catalog, particularly of some of the deeper cuts via Bon Scott. We’re not sure how he convinced Angus Young to include more Bon tracks on the setlist, but we’re sure thankful he did. In honor of Axl’s birthday, take a listen to some of those songs.
