Today we celebrate the birth of Eagles founder Don Henley. In our opinion Henley is one of the most successful rockers of all time. He's a Rock N Roll Hall of Famer, a Songwriting Hall of Fame member, has sold millions of records with both The Eagles and via his solo career and he's shown himself to be a force in defending/protecting the Earth. Here are a few of our favorite Don Henley performances. Don Henley - Boys of Summer Live @ Farm Aid (1985)
Don Henley performs "The Boys of Summer" live at the Farm Aid concert in Champaign, Illinois on September 22, 1985. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers.

The Eagles – Hotel California @ 1998 Rock Hall of Fame Induction:
On a dark desert highway, Cool wind in my hair, Warm smell of 'colitas' Rising up through the air, Up ahead in the distance I saw a shimmering light, My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim, I had to stop for the night.
