Hi there and thanks for stopping by MGK's PET PAGE!
Don't ask me how old my cute little Bandit (Shi-tzu) is because I don't know! I'm thinking around 4 years old but I'll never know for sure because he was a rescue dog. And boy, is he a Mommy's dog! He sleeps on my side of the bed and if I'm sitting watching TV, he'll curl up by my feet. In the car, he's on my lap. And he's SUCH a good traveler too! He's a feisty little number and loves long walks. He greets everyone at the front door with a toy in his mouth.
Before Bandit, it was Ling and Coco....daughter and father Pekingese. I don't think they knew they were related though. Ling came to us as a little pup...just the sweetest little princess. She was dainty and should've worn a tiara. Coco was actually given to us as a wedding present. He had been the top breeder at a puppy farm and wasn't "performing" any more so they were going to put him out to pasture. So he was rescued as well. He was a cranky old fart but we loved him for his 17 years. In fact, our son grew up with these two dogs in our family.
I could go on and on about all the dogs in my family all the way back to my first dog when I was just a little girl....Dusty! (My son's name is Dustin...coincidence? You decide!) I also had cats all my life too. And my brother always had snakes. I would find them in my shoes! My husband Chip also has African Tree Frogs.
Yes, we love animals!

On the no-no list: Avocados, beer, nuts, chocolate, onions.
OK for your dog: Carrot sticks, green beans, cucumber slices and zucchini.
