As if the Eagles playing their first concert since Glenn Frey's death wasn't enough, the group's Classic West reunion took on even bigger proportions when Bob Seger made a surprise appearance to sing "Heartache Tonight" with the group on Saturday (July 15) at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles.
While there's plenty of firepower to this week's Classic West festival -- with Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Steely Dan, the Doobie Brothers and Earth, Wind & Fire -- at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium, the big story is the Eagles.
The Eagles have confirmed that they'll be joined for this summer's Classic East/West concerts not only by the late Glenn Frey's son Deacon Frey but also by country music stalwart Vince Gill, a former member of Poco and an Eagles contemporary in the California country-rock scene.
The Eagles have announced that country superstar, Vince Gill, will join Glenn's son Deacon Frey when the band plays their Classic East and Classic West concerts this year. Don Henley, Deacon Frey and Vince Gill talk about this new development.
