Star Trek Las Vegas Honors Anton Yelchin With Tribute Wall

The loss still lingers of Star Trek star Anton Yelchin, who passed in a freak accident with his vehicle.

This year's Star Trek convention had a special memorial to the too-soon passing of Anton Yelchin, who played Chekov in the recent movie installments of Star Trek.

The cast has been mourning at events, giving moments of silence for him, as well as speaking on his character, and how much they loved him as a person.

At the convention, people were able to sign an art wall which shares the saying "It's empty on earth alone without you while you're flying, and to you, stars are giving their tenderness."

Variety reports that a Jeep Grand Cherokee recall notice was mailed to Anton just 7 days after his Jeep had wrongfully killed him, and Yelchin's parents have filed a wrongful death suit against the manufacturer.
