PLAYLIST: Original Rock Soundtrack Songs

AC/DC’s Who Made Who, the soundtrack to the Stephen King film Maximum Overdrive, was released 31 years ago today (May 24), and frankly, the soundtrack is the most memorable part about the film.

King, a massive AC/DC fan, convinced the band to contribute some hits, as well as some new music, to the film’s soundtrack titled Who Made Who.  Three new tracks were featured on the soundtrack:  Two instrumentals (“D.T.” and “Chase The Ace”) and the title track, which was one of AC/DC most successful singles on the 1980s.

This anniversary got us thinking about other great original rock soundtrack songs.  In honor of Who Made Who, we created the playlist below.

Did we miss one of your favorites?  Let us know in the comments!
