The 2017 ESPY Awards were last night (July 13), and without a doubt, one of the night’s most memorable moments came when Bill Murray accepted the award for “Best Moment” on behalf of the Chicago Cubs.
The Cubs, of course, won the 2016 World Series and ended the team’s 108-year championship drought. Murray has been a lifelong Cubs fan and made headlines himself celebrating the historic World Series victory.
We don’t want to spoil the video below, but it involves Nick Offerman (who presented the award), champagne sabering and a mysterious walk-on by former Cubs catcher David Ross that involves a lot of thrusting.
Honestly, it’s all a recipe for a good party, in our honest opinion.
