Since July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month, Concord Pet Foods & Supplies wants you to be aware of tips on what to do if your pet goes missing.
To avoid losing your pet, consider these prevention strategies.
- Start with a good collar. Find a collar that fits properly. Reach out to a local trainer or pet shop if you need assistance ensuring a good fit. For added insurance, consider a collar that you can embroider with your phone number.
- Purchase name tags. Every pet should have a regular name tag with the pet’s name and your contact information (two phone numbers are recommended).
- Have your pet microchipped and register the microchip. Make sure to update your registration if you move or change contact information.
