Dead and Co.’s ‘Playing in the Sand’ Sounds Like Literal Paradise
For fans of Dead & Company, it looks like your next vacation could already be planned.
The Grateful Dead offshoot has just announced Playing in the Sand, a four day-three night all-inclusive “Caribbean concert vacation” taking place February 15-18 that will feature three concerts on the beaches of Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Fans have the opportunity to stay at one of six beautiful resorts, and in addition to the nightly concerts have the choice of taking part in a variety of day activities including “yoga, tequila tasting, bowling and surfing, as well as a plethora of off-site adventures that allow guests to explore Mexico’s amazing natural treasures and sacred ancient history.”
Dead & Company is inviting fans to sign up for presale access via a special link on the band’s and individual band members’ email and social media channels. This presale will begin Tuesday, August 1st at 1pm ET. All-inclusive packages will be available to the public on Thursday, August 3rd at 1PM ET. Guests can secure packages for just $750 down, followed by five equal monthly payments of the remaining balance August – December.
