PLAYLIST: Great Beatles Love Songs
The Beatles Help! was released on this day (August 13) in 1965 and tucked away on side two of the U.K. version of the album is one of the band’s best love songs in its catalog: “I’ve Just Seen A Face.”
(Note: In the U.S., “I’ve Just Seen A Face” was track one on Rubber Soul instead.)
Jaunty and unapologetically sweet, it’s two minutes of pure bliss, and it makes us look back on the great love songs in the Beatles’ arsenal. In honor of the anniversary of Help!, enjoy the Beatles long songs playlist below!
