The Purple One, Prince himself, has received his own Pantone color in honor of his legacy.

For those who are unaware what Pantone is, it is a company that specializes in mixing and determining colors.

If you have a college color scheme, chances are it's registered with Pantone.

Well, Pantone decided that they would honor Prince in the best way they could by giving him his own signature color. They determined that the color they chose is the exact purple to represent Prince. They also put his symbol on the card announcement, and named it 'Love Symbol #2.'

Pantone VP Laurie Pressman is quoted saying in NYLON's article "Long associated with the purple family, ‘Love Symbol #2’ enables Prince’s unique purple shade to be consistently replicated and maintain the same iconic status as the man himself.”

If Amy Cooper were a jelly doughnut, she would be a 'Sarcasm-filled Doughnut.'
