Robert Plant’s Trippy New Video

Robert Plant has released a cool animated video for one of the songs on his forthcoming album. This track features The Pretenders Chrissie Hynde. We know we’re biased but doesn’t the blue bird in the video look like an eagle? Maybe he’s a closet Philly football fan.
This song is a cover of Ersel Hickey’s “Bluebirds Over The Mountain,.” It’s from his upcoming album Carry Fire (out 10/13 on Nonesuch/Warner Bros). Plant also annoucned a few tour dates. His closest Philly appearance is a gig at Beacon Theater in New York.
