Monty Hall, the iconic game show host of “Let’s Make A Deal,” has died. He was 96.
Per The New York Times, Hall’s daughter, Joanna Gleason, confirmed his cause of death was due to heart failure.
Hall’s career began in radio in the late 1940’s and moved to various hosting game show gigs in local television markets. His first national hosting gig came in 1960 on CBS’ Video Village. Shortly after in 1963, Hall would co-create Let’s Make A Deal with Stefan Hatos. Hall would host the popular game show until 1986.
