VIDEO: Teens Breakdown The Lyrics To “Stairway To Heaven”
June 1973: British rock band Led Zeppelin. From left to right, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham (1947 - 1980), John Paul Jones.
Led Zeppelin IV was released 46 years ago today (November 8.)
Selling a staggering 23 million copies in the U.S. and featuring some of the band’s biggest tracks like “Black Dog” and “Rock and Roll,” we’d all be kidding ourselves if we didn’t acknowledge that the epic “Stairway To Heaven” is the album’s true headliner and main attraction.
Every new generation brings more Zeppelin fans into the fold, and while even this writer was skeptical of the insight of “Stairway’s” lyrics by today’s teens, the video below is an impressive watch and may even make you look at the iconic track’s mysticism differently.
