U2, GN’R Win Big At Billboard Touring Awards
U2, Guns N’ Roses and Foo Fighters were among the winners at this year’s Billboard Touring Awards, presented on Wednesday night (November 15) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
U2 won the Top Boxscore award for its Joshua Tree Tour 2017, which sold more than 2.7 tickets and grossed a reported $317 million over the course of 51 shows.
Guns N’ Roses‘ ongoing Not In This Lifetime Tour was named Top Tour/Top Draw over U2 and Coldplay, while the Foos’ partnership with Capital One for its North American Concrete and Gold Tour took home honors for best Concert Marketing/Promotion.
The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival was named Top Festival, while Live Nation Entertainment was this year’s Top Promoter.
