Sad news to report about David Cassidy and his health.
As first reported by TMZ and later by multiple outlets including The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, Cassidy has been hospitalized in Florida and is in critical condition due to organ failure. TMZ says Cassidy has been in the hospital for the past three days with his liver and kidney being the sources of his health issues.
Early this year, Cassidy went public with his dementia diagnosis.
Cassidy, of course, is best known for the role of Keith Partridge on the hit series The Partridge Family, which helped launch his own singing career and massive teen idol status.
