U2 News Round-Up: Billboard No. 1, New BBC Special
Lots of U2 news to discuss today, so let’s dive in.
*It’s official! U2’s Song of Experience debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart with 186,000 units tallied and 180,000 of that figure coming from traditional album sales. This makes U2’s eighth album to top the Billboard 200.
*BBC 1 will be airing a new special on the band on December 19. Here’s a preview showing The Edge and Adam Clayton in a record shop in Sao Paulo.
‘You can always find us in old vinyl stores… it’s like discovering your adolescence again.’ Adam & Edge record shopping in São Paulo with Cat Deeley for BBC 1 special, next Tuesday 9pm (19th Dec). 'Cash? What’s that?' #U2SongsofExperience #U2 pic.twitter.com/rEIzJvZ8Tf
