U2 Tops Pollstar’s Top 2017 Tours List
U2, Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones were among the Top 10 tours of 2017 according to the industry magazine Pollstar.
U2’s trek, celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Joshua Tree, was No. 1 overall, grossing $316 million through 52 shows in North America, Latin America and Europe. McCartney’s One On One Tour ranked seventh with $132 million, while the Rolling Stones’ European No Filter Tour was No. 1 with $120 million in just 14 dates. Roger Waters ($92.1 million), Bruce Springsteen ($87.8 million) and Billy Joel ($82.3 million) were also on the Pollstar top tours list.
