Neil Young Provides Soundtrack To New Daryl Hannah Film
Neil Young has just revealed the details surrounding the soundtrack he put together for an upcoming Western film called Paradox that was written & directed by actress Daryl Hannah (Splash!).
The soundtrack will feature Neil and and his backing band, Promise of the Real, and it will come out on March 23 on Reprise Records.
Young performs in mutliple ways on the on the album. He performs with The Promise Of The Real, solo on electric guitar, in a band with drummer Jim Keltner and bassist Paul Bushnell and with an orchestra.
Willie Nelson, will also appear on the soundtrack via a narration on “Many Moons Ago in the Future.”
Young also makes an appearance in the movie as “Man in the Black Hat”. Paradox is about group of outlaws and cowboys digging for treasure. It will premiere on Netflix on March 23 and will also be released in theaters.
