The 3-disc compilation will be called ’50 for 50′  and will be chronological.

Jethro Tull‘s founder and flutist Ian Anderson has handpicked the tracks out of the band’s 21 albums, according to Rolling Stone.

Considering that the band also just kicked off a world tour, this is a great time to do the box set.  There will also be an 50th Anniversary Hits album, that’s just a 15-track collection released on CD and Vinyl, but if you’re looking to snag the Vinyl version, you will have to wait until August 31.
