The nominees for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards were announced, and we’re pleased to see some of classic rock’s finest represented.
U2 received four nominations including “Top Duo/Group,” “Top Touring Artist,” “Top Rock Tour” and “Top Rock Album” for Songs of Experience. Guns N’ Roses received two nominations including “Top Touring Artist” and “Top Rock Tour.” Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, meanwhile, received a nod in the “Top Rock Artist” category.
Also receiving a nomination is the classic rock-heavy Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2: Awesome Mix Vol. 2 in the “Top Soundtrack” category.
The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will air live on Sunday, May 20 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on NBC.
