This moment is both super punk and still not even the strangest thing John Lydon has done on stage.

At a recent Public Image Ltd. show in the U.K., Lydon fulfilled a fan’s request of scattering the ashes of her late brother during the performance.

“This is for Stuart, a fan whose request is his ashes be spread on the PiL stage,” exclaimed Lydon. “Stuart, we love you! In memory! Stuart!”

Honestly, this sure beats spreading ashes anywhere in nature!
