She tries to reach Monarch Sciences on a speaker, and initially, nobody replies, until she says the name Monarch. Then there’s some very ‘Stranger Things’-esque sounds that come from the speakers.

Shockingly, there’s no sign of Godzilla.

According to the director Michael Dougherty, he says, quoted by NME: there’s paranoia and endless speculation about whether he is the only one out there or whether we’re threatened by others like his kind.”
