Looks Like New GN’R Music Really Could Be in the Works
Not sure how Guns N’ Roses feels about people speculating about the potential of a new album now that Slash and Duff McKagan are back in the fold, but if they wanted to throw people off of any scent, perhaps comments like this should be kept under wraps.
The comment in question comes from a recent interview Slash gave to Classic Rock magazine (transcribed by NME), the guitarist said, “So I think we’re going to go well on into the future.
“I mean, Axl’s got a ton of shit that he recorded already, so we’re going to get in there and just start getting into that thing, and then if we do a record and then do a tour, I could see that cycle going on endlessly.”
As much as we’d love to know just how much “a ton of shit” equals, it’s still difficult to think GN’R won’t be able to put together something new.
Side note: “Endlessly” tour?! Well, it sounds like someone might be enjoying all that sweet, sweet tour cash. Frankly, who wouldn’t enjoy making $500 million dollars?
