LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 03: Dave Grohl performs onstage during 2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Catherine Opie and Guillermo del Toro presented by Gucci at LACMA on November 3, 2018 in Los Angeles, California; TAURANGA, NEW ZEALAND - NOVEMBER 26: AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd talks to members of the media after leaving Tauranga District Court after appearing in court after being charged with threatening to kill and possession of meth and marijuana at Tauranga District Court on November 26, 2014 in Tauranga, New Zealand. Phil Rudd was ACDC's drummer from 1975 to 1983.

While no official statement has been released, Dave Grohl may have spilled the beans about a major change in the AC/DC lineup.

In an interview with Forbes, Grohl was asked who would be a dream drum gig and responded, “AC/DC. That’s my last one, that’s it. Phil Rudd is back though. If you dive back into their back catalog, that early sh*t, there was a little bit more dynamic, then they settled into the groove. That’s the thing. And it’s because of Phil Rudd. It’s AC/DC, but that guy holds the key.”

Rudd and singer Brian Johnson were reportedly spotted earlier this year in Vancouver on the patio of Warehouse Studio, which is where AC/DC recorded their last three studio albums.

Hopefully, we’ll get a confirmation on the state of AC/DC soon.
