Could a ‘Grease’ Prequel be Happening?

It looks like viewers may be able to find out what happened between Danny and Sandy as a prequel to Grease is allegedly in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Players has put into development a Grease prequel, titled Summer Loving. The prequel is said to give us insight on what actually happened during those “Summer Nights”.

Grease was released in 1978 and tells the love story of greaser Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Australian girl Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John).

No word yet on the casting.
