Penn awarded Bon Jovi with an honorary Doctor of Music degree during its 263rd commencement. Of the honor, Bon Jovi shared via his Instagram, "It’s better to be a doctor than be in need of a doctor.
Thanks @uofpenn and congratulations to all the graduates."
Bon Jovi's previous honorary degrees include a Doctorate of Humanities from Monmouth University in 2001 and Doctorate of Letters from Rutgers in 2015.
