The new CGI/all-star voice cast version of The Lion King hits theaters tomorrow (July 19), and YouTuber DJ Cummerbund celebrated by mashing up “Circle of Life” with the Foo Fighters‘ hit single “All My Life,” thus, creating “All Circles of Life.”

In the mashup’s description, DJ Cummerbund writes, “I saw this great video last year called “Circle Of My Life” apparently made by “Exightly” I think and noticed that people were clamoring for a full version. I figured I’d take on the challenge only to realize that it was a stupid, impulsive idea even though I love the Foo Fighters and elephants and s—. So…here.”

For added measure and joy, the mashup also features Prince’s “Purple Rain,” both the song and clips from the film.

Honestly, this mashup has no business working as well as it does, and it’s surprisingly moving, too. Enjoy!
