April Elizabeth Licata let her son’s dog Piper out on November 18, but when she called the pug back in, she was nowhere to be seen. Her 14-year-old son Carter had been given the pup as a 12th birthday present, and was worried they might never see Piper again. But just when hope seemed to fade, April received a call from an animal shelter near their home in Byron, New York, that a dog matching Piper’s description had been found. After being reunited with Piper, April took the dog to surprise Carter after school, and his reaction was priceless…
