COOKING ROCKS! – Roasted Pistachio’s and Chick Peas Show #7
A savory side dish or tasty addition to salad!
2 cans chick peas, drained
1 lb bag of shelled unsalted pistachios
3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp ground cumin (start here and adjust to taste)
1 tsp dry thyme or rosemary (preference choice)
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
salt to taste, hot pepper to taste
Place all dry ingredients in mixing bowl over pistachios and chick peas
Drizzle EVOO and stir, evenly mixing and coating pistachios and chick peas.
Place on cookie sheet and Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes (check at the 15 minute mark)
