The trailer for Spiral, a new movie that’s a part of the Saw series was just released; Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Marisol Nichols, and Max Minghella are in the cast.
Spiral is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and the script was written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger. Spiral is the ninth installment in the Saw franchise.
However, the script derives from a story that was created by Rock who also serves as the executive producer. The film was announced with a different release date (Oct. 23) back in May of 2019.
“Chris conceived this idea and it will be completely reverential to the legacy of the material while reinvigorating the brand with his wit, creative vision, and passion for this classic horror franchise,” Joe Drake of Lionsgate said Spiral opens in theatres on May 15.
