Students at Allentown's School Of Rock got quite a surprise on Monday when they, and their parents, got a visit from one of rock and roll's biggest front men!

David Lee Roth, Van Halen's energetic lead singer, was in town with his band for their show supporting Kiss at the PPL Center on Tuesday, and they needed a place to rehearse.  One of the Roth band's managers reached out to the SOR peeps in Allentown last weekend to see if Roth and the guys could utilize their facility for a little while.  After a quick 'yes,' and once the details were worked out, the band arrived just after 2pm Monday to start rehearsing, much to the shock of the young musicians and their parents.

After a few hours of rehearsal, the band's production manager asked the School Of Rock staff if David Lee could swing by in his tour bus and say hi.

Can you imagine everyone's reaction there???

Sure enough, Roth pulls up in his giant tour bus and schmoozed with the staff, took selfies with the kids and their parents, and signed a boat load of autographs before he took off.

According to an article in "Lehigh Valley Live," one kid even brought in his replica Eddie Van Halen "Frankenstein" guitar for Roth to sign, which he gladly did.

For the kids and parents lucky enough to have been to School Of Rock that afternoon, they got a killer memory that will stay with them forever, thanks to Diamond Dave and his crew.
