Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong seems to be having fun with his quarantine-era series of covers, which he’s dubbed “No Fun Mondays.” This week, his cover is Kin Wilde’s 1981 single (and eventual MTV hit) “Kids In America”; the song was later covered by the Muffs in 1995 for the Clueless soundtrack.
The video is something of a lyric video, as we watch the lyrics being written in green magic marker. We also see a bass playing unicorn, who resembles Green Day’s Mike Dirnt.
