Mick Jagger stars in film The Burnt Orange Heresy
The film opens this weekend! August 21, 2020. The Burnt Orange Heresy starring Mick Jagger!
Not many rock stars can pull off acting in a movie. But Mick Jagger has done it a few times.
Performance in 1970. Ned Kelly (1970), Freejack (1992), and The Man From Elysian Fields (2002), among others.
His latest is his best role yet and he’s the biggest name in the film! See trailer here.
Mick plays a wealthy art collector in The Burnt Orange Heresy. He has a lot of lines in the first half of the movie and appears again briefly toward the end. Donald Sutherland co-stars along with Danish actor Claes Bang and Elizabeth Debicki
It takes place mostly in the beautiful setting of Lake Como, Italy.
Based on the book by Charles Willeford, It’s an intriguing story with some twists and very interesting, seductive characters.
The drama thriller was directed by Giuseppe Capotondi. Screenplay by Scott Smith.
It was released right around the time when everything shut down in March 2020. Now that the movie theaters are opening again, you can see it starting August 21st.
