You Gotta See This

Boy, are we ever missing the concert experience this year. But now you can get the next best thing. Stevie Nicks in concert on a huge movie screen with big sound! But hurry, it’s tonight only and Sunday only!

Stevie Nicks 24 Karat Gold The Concert opens tonight (Oct 21) in select movie theaters for a very limited run. Click here to find where the screenings will be held.

I saw this tour at Wells Fargo Center on November 20, 2016. The Pretenders opened the show. Were you there, too? The tour covered 67 cities from October 25, 2016 – November 24, 2017. Filming and recording took place in Indianapolis and Pittsburgh in 2017 but it was the same show we saw in Philly.

Stevie entertains by telling stories about each song she performs. Her stories included working with Tom Petty and Prince, her solo record deal and telling Fleetwood Mac about it, and how her first car wouldn’t reverse (it was very old) but as her career took off, she started riding in limousines.  Her advice: Hold onto your dreams.

Longtime friend and guitarist Waddy Wachtel holds steady. He plays an acoustic guitar as Stevie sings her signature hit “Landslide.” Her band is top notch complete with two faithful female backup singers.

Songs from the solo albums and from Fleetwood Mac. Here’s the setlist from the show in Philly. It’s pretty much song for song in the movie. Here’s the trailer.
