Jon Bon Jovi made his thoughts abundantly clear on whether he would ever consider running for political office in the future.

When asked this question in a new interview with The Guardian, Bon Jovi responded with a resounding, “Hell no.” He also added about being a politician, “It’s a s— existence – selling yourself and your soul.”

While JBJ clearly has no interest in a career in politics, he clearly doesn’t have a problem with being political and supporting various candidates. In addition to performing at campaign events for Joe Biden leading up to the 2020 Presidental Election, Bon Jovi performed during Celebrating America, a live special that aired the night of the inauguration of Presiden Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. During the special, Bon Jovi covered the Beatles’ classic “Here Comes The Sun,” which received a…let’s just say “mixed” reaction. Despite this, JBJ told The Guardian, “I never felt like I needed to sing a song more. It was cathartic.”
