The Who released their 12th studio album, Who, in 2019. It was the band's first studio LP since 2006's Endless Wire. But if you're expecting more studio work from The Who, you might be disappointed.
Roger Daltrey said in a new interview with Uncut (as transcribed by NME), "Will there be another Who album? I don’t know. There’s no record market anymore. Everybody talks about streaming, but have you seen what artists get from that? It’s a joke."

Daltrey added, "It was great to get an album out there, something that the fans liked, and I was really proud of it. But far too much money was spent making it."
The aforementioned Endless Wire celebrates its 15th anniversary in October, but that isn't the only Who album celebrating a major milestone in 2021. On March 16, Face Dances celebrates its 40th anniversary, while The Who's classic album Who's Next turns 50 in August.
