Today (Sept. 24) marks the 30th anniversary of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ seminal Blood Sugar Sex Magik record, and the guys celebrated in a big way: by announcing their fist tour with guitarist John Frusciante back in the fold.

The group shared the news of their upcoming world stadium tour with a hilarious comedy sketch, featuring band members discussing the tour on the fictional news station KHOT. In the video, Anthony Kiedis (as Johnson Hammerswaddle) and Flea (as Todd the Squirrel) give Frusciante a warm welcome, as he announces that U.S. tour dates will start next month, followed by a world tour beginning in June 2022. The clip also features drummer Chad Smith as the fictional weatherman Randy Raindrops.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers haven't revealed any tour dates or venues yet, but a press release states, "All the tour dates, sales information, support acts and other factoids will be available shortly." The release also says the Peppers' "hearts are full and they’re fixing to unleash an infinite river of creativity, and rock your world."

When they hit the road, this will mark the first Peppers tour with Frusciante back in the band in roughly 15 years.

Watch the very Peppers-esque sketch below.
