Big Gig

Are you ready to join us at the Waterfront Pavilion with a couple of tickets the 2022 edition of 102.9 MGK's Big Gig?  I can't believe we are less than three weeks away from the show, Saturday, August 13, featuring no less than Styx, REO Speedwagon and Loverboy on the same bill!  Think about all those songs - "Come Sail Away," "Keep On Loving You," "Working For The Weekend," "Too Much Time On My Hands" and "Can't Fight This Feeling," "Turn Me Loose" -  that's a lot of hits!!  Check out my show all this week, in the 4pm hour, and you'll have a chance to text in and win Big Gig tickets so you can join us at Camden's Freedom Mortgage Pavilion, when those superstars take the stage.

In addition, I will have the honor of welcoming Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon as my special guest this Friday!  Listen for that during the 4:00 hour on Friday.

Kevin is one of the nicest rock stars out there and is always a fun, entertaining and informative interview.  Here's a quick bit from our conversation:

Andre: You're not the kind of guys [who] show up in the newspapers...drive cars into swimming pools and have salacious backstage antics with groupies. How in the world have you stayed away from that or kept away from the temptation?

Kevin Cronin: "Well, here's the thing. Back in the day, we played most of our gigs in the Midwest. Unfortunately for us, we did all the same crazy stuff that people were doing in L.A. and New York, but no one heard about it. We kind of had the best of both worlds."

Listen for the rest of the interview this Friday in the 4pm hour, and check me out all week so you can grab a free pair of Big Tickets!
