The Offspring had a terrifying experience over the weekend involving an automobile fire while traveling in Canada.

The band shared via Instagram, "Something flew off the vehicle in front of us and became wedged underneath one of our SUVs and it caught fire."

They added, "Everyone got out safely, but the luggage, passports, laptops and pretty much everything else was destroyed."

The band concluded, "We are happy to report that everyone is doing ok and we've made it safely to Rimouski and will be performing tonight at Les Grandes Fetes TELUS. Hope to see everyone there!"

Footage of the fire can be viewed below.

The Offspring wraps up their tour dates in Canada on August 13 in Vancouver at the Ambleside Music Festival. From there, the band heads to Japan to take part in the Japan Summer Sonic festival. A full list of upcoming tour dates can be found at Offspring.com.
