The Lighting of the Guitar at MGK’s Big Bad Bonfire!!
This past Saturday night WMGK’s Big Bad Bonfire took place at Spring Mountain in upper Montgomery County Pa. To say it was a smashing success is an understatement. The place was packed, and our brand-new house band Incognito was on Fire (No pun intended).
A big thank you to The Upper Salford Fire Department and chief firefighter Tom, who helped with the Flame Thrower that I brought to light the Bonfire. I had never used it before, and Tom figured all the intricacies out. I must say Steve and I had a blast using the Flame Thrower to get the fire started.
Also, a big shout out to Heartland Demolition and Restoration of Harleysville and Mike and crew for bringing in all the wood for the Bonfire, super nice guys.
And to MGK’s Graphic Designer Greg Monaghan who just delivered again this year with another design of the guitar that we put on top of the Bonfire. This year’s design was a gigantic Rick Neilson of Cheap Trick knock off Hammer Checkerboard explorer.
Mad props to our promo crew of Sean, Kara and Donnie for pulling everything together.
InCognito playing It’s a Long way to the Top (If You want to Rock and Roll)!
