My Nephew and I Attend Shyamaween 2022
The M. Night Shyamalan Foundation hosted its annual Shyamaween 2022 Live Auction this weekend on Saturday October 22 at the coolest top secret location yet, and I was lucky enough to host the auction and be in attendance with my nephew, Nate!
The Shyamaween auctions are typically a night full of fun, where the guests and bidders get to dress up in costumes for the holiday occasion while also bidding on super neat prizes. The money raised goes to the foundation itself, of course.
The prizes this year might have been the best selection of prizes yet!
One of the prizes included being an extra in M. Night’s new movie that has not even been announced yet, and it included being flown to the set of the movie filming and being put up for a night before the winner makes their acting debut.
A second prize included being invited to the red-carpet premiere of the movie mogul’s new film, Knock at the Cabin, which also includes an invitation to the afterparty with those who worked on the film.
Similar to the last prize, another one included being invited to the 20th anniversary screening of Shyamalan’s blockbuster hit movie Signs. The winner would also get to bring ten guests along, mingle with M. Night and Dr. Bhavna Shyamalan before the screening, and attend a special Q+A after the film!
The coolest prize of the night up for grabs might have been this next one, though!
An intimate dinner with M. Night and Dr. Bhavna at their home, which will be made by their private chef to the dietary needs of the winner!
All together, it’s for a great cause as 100 percent of the auction proceeds go directly to grants supporting MNS Foundation Leaders who are working to alleviate poverty and further social justice in their communities.
Thank you to both M. Night and Dr. Bhavna for having Nate and I!
