Jason Kelce’s Clothing Line Launch Event Benefitting Non-Profit
This past Sunday, November 6th, Philadelphia Eagles legend and starting center, Jason Kelce, held a launch event for his new clothing line, “Underdog Apparel,” and I was fortunate enough to be there for it!
The event took place at Bok Bar, which is on Mifflin Street and is a rooftop bar with a gorgeous view of the city in the background. It was a perfect location for an event like this.
“Underdog Apparel” is not just your regular clothing brand, though. It is a clothing brand that has a cause and a purpose behind it!
Sales of the clothing will go towards Kelce’s non-profit, The Be Philly Foundation, which helps other local organizations better the lives of Philadelphia youth by improving academic and economic situations.
This is a really cool thing for Kelce to do, and once again proves that he is Philly through and through!
No wonder he is voted team captain year after year.
As for the clothing itself, it is pretty sweet and I would love to get my hands on some of it to wear during this special Eagles season.
At the initial launch, there are currently two different collections – The Classic Collection and The Hungry Dog Collection.
The Classic Collection features shirts with the iconic German shepherd mask on them that many will remember from the Eagles Super Bowl run in 2017.
In the picture above of me and Kelce from yesterday, you can see the All-Pro center wearing it!
The Hungry Dog Collection has a variety of shirts that features different Eagles players including, Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Brandon Graham, and DeVonta Smith.
Overall, Kelce just wanted to capture the relentless underdog spirit of the city of Philadelphia as best he could with this clothing line, while helping find ways for the next generation of Philadelphians to successfully carry on the torch of that underdog energy!
I am so glad I was able to see the unveiling of this cool brand yesterday!
Kelce once famously said, “Hungry dogs run faster.” Well, I am sure Philly will be running even faster to get their hands on some “Underdog Apparel” clothing!
