The Boss is Set to Release a New Album Tomorrow!
One of the most legendary runs in rock ‘n’ roll music history begins a new chapter tomorrow with the release of a new album.
Bruce Springsteen, The Boss, himself, is set to release the 21st album of his career tomorrow, November 10th, titled, “Only the Strong Survive.”
The project will have 15 tracks that put the New Jersey native’s spin on classic American soul songs from historic labels such as Motown and Stax.
This new album represents Springsteen’s first album since “Letter to You” was released in the middle of COVID back in 2020.
With a new album, of course, that means a tour!
Spring and the E Street Band are set to hit the road in 2023 for a nationwide tour for 30 different shows!
The tour will make a stop in the great city of Philadelphia on March 16th in what is sure to be a night to remember!
It is hard to believe The Boss is 73 years old! You would never believe it given the way he still puts on a classic show each and every night while performing!
Who can forget that record-setting performance back in the summer of 2016 at Citizens Bank Park!
As a matter of fact, earlier that year, in February of 2016, I had the pleasure of broadcasting live from Bruce’s show at the Wells Fargo Center with former Philadelphia Sixers coach, Brett Brown, who was my guest co-host that night!
Brett is a humongous fan of The Boss, so it was a special night to be able to talk all things Springsteen related with such an avid listener such as the great former Sixers coach!
Check out the photo above from that amazing night back when I was with WMGK’s sister station, WMMR.
I can’t wait to put the new album on for a spin tomorrow when I get the chance!
